Alex Schechter is a writer based in Las Vegas

Alex Schechter is a journalist, author, and writing instructor. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Vox, SFGate, Lonely Planet, National Geographic, and many other publications. Currently, he is an MFA student in Creative Writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

He is the host of Where Did You Come From, Where Did You Go?, a podcast featuring interviews with queer writers and artists.
